| svg-sanitizer from 1.1.0 before 1.1.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows remote attackers to crash requests by submitting SVG input ending inside an unclosed tag. Attackers can upload truncated input like a single '<' to trigger an uncaught ValueError from strpos() in hasElementWithTooManyAttributes() or hasInternalDtdSubset() on PHP 8, failing the request. |
| Improper Authorization vulnerability in Drupal Field Collection for Drupal 7 allows a user with the "edit field collections" permission to bypass access control on the parent (host) entity.
The access check for field collection items (field_collection_item_access()) granted edit and delete access to any user holding the "edit field collections" permission without verifying the user's access to the host entity. As a result, a user with "edit field collections" but without edit/update access to the host entity (for example a node they cannot edit) could edit or delete field collection items attached to that entity, bypassing the intended entity/node access restrictions. The fix requires access to the parent entity in addition to the field collection permission.
This issue affects Field Collection for Drupal 7: version 7.x-1.0 up to and including 7.x-1.2. |
| The File Force Download module for Drupal 7 implements hook_file_download() to add a Content-Disposition header when a file URL carries the download query parameter. In Drupal 7, returning a non-empty header array from that hook is itself a grant of access to the file.
In versions 7.1.0 through 7.1.2, the module only delegated to other modules' hook_file_download() implementations when the file was in the private scheme. For every other scheme it returned its headers without any check. An unauthenticated visitor who appended download=1 to the URL of a file in the temporary:// scheme, or in a stream wrapper supplied by another module, could retrieve the file, overriding the access checks that would otherwise have applied. Files in the public and private schemes are not affected. |

Attackers can upload crafted SVG files whose animateTransform targets the href attribute, executing arbitrary JavaScript when Safari users click the link. |
| svg-sanitizer from 0.5.0 before 1.1.0 contains an incomplete filtering vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass remote URL removal by using CSS escape sequences inside url() in SVG presentation attributes. Attackers can supply SVG files with attributes like fill containing escaped slashes that browsers resolve to remote URLs, triggering external requests and enabling data exfiltration. |
| jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `of` option of the `.position()` util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `of` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `of` option from untrusted sources. |
| In jQuery starting with 1.12.0 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. |
