CVE-2026-61854 2026-10-30 8.2 High
VoiceSentinel is a real-time voice moderation system for Minecraft servers. From 2.2.1 until 3.3.1, the optional report buffer feature has a race between retention cleanup and normal transcript writes. In `report_buffer.py`, `_maybe_cleanup()` uses an unlocked dictionary for once-per-hour cleanup throttling, allowing simultaneous `_cleanup_tenant()` operations for one tenant. Cleanup reads `transcripts.jsonl` and rewrites it in place without file locking or atomic replacement, while `report_buffer_append_async` uses `asyncio.to_thread` to append without synchronization. In `main.py`, concurrent `_processing_worker` tasks make this reachable in normal operation; `processing.worker_count` of two or more and public-pool servers sharing a `server_key` increase collisions. With `report_buffer.enabled` set to true, racing writes can lose, duplicate or corrupt transcript data and defeat `report_buffer.retention_seconds` pruning, allowing unbounded disk growth that can exhaust storage and crash the host or other services sharing it. The feature is opt-in and disabled by default. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.1.
CVE-2026-110803 1 Vaadin 1 Framework 2026-10-30 N/A
VaadinService.requestEnd() in Vaadin Framework 8 locks the session and then reads the v-uiId request parameter outside the block that releases the lock. A request carrying a non-numeric v-uiId makes Integer.parseInt throw while the session lock is held, so the lock is never released and the container thread returns to its pool still owning it. Every later request to that session then blocks forever in VaadinService.lockSession(), and repeating the request exhausts the thread pool and takes the application down. No authentication is required: a session cookie, which any client obtains with a single request, is enough. Vaadin 10 and later are not affected, because Flow releases the lock in a finally block and does not read that parameter there, and Vaadin Framework 7 is not affected either. Users of affected versions should apply the following mitigation or upgrade. Releases that have fixed this issue include: Product version Vaadin Framework 8.16.0 - 8.32.1 Mitigation Upgrade to 8.32.2 Vaadin Framework 7 and Vaadin 10 and later do not carry this behaviour and need no upgrade for this issue. Artifacts Maven coordinates / Vulnerable versions / Fixed version com.vaadin:vaadin-server / 8.16.0 - 8.32.1 / >=8.32.2 com.vaadin:vaadin-server-mpr-jakarta / 8.18.0 - 8.32.1 / >=8.32.2
CVE-2026-63914 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: route MIGRATE notifications to caller's netns xfrm_send_migrate() in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c and pfkey_send_migrate() in net/key/af_key.c both hardcode &init_net for the multicast that announces a successful XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE / SADB_X_MIGRATE. XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE arrives on a per-netns NETLINK_XFRM socket, and the rest of the xfrm/af_key netlink path was made netns-aware in 2008. The other 14 multicast paths in xfrm_user.c route their event using xs_net(x), xp_net(xp) or sock_net(skb->sk); only the migrate path was missed. Two consequences of the init_net hardcoding: 1. The notification (selector, old/new endpoint addresses, and the km_address) is delivered to listeners on init_net's XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey BROADCAST_ALL groups rather than on the issuing netns. An IKE daemon running in init_net therefore receives migration notifications originating from any other netns on the host. 2. An IKE daemon running inside a non-init netns and subscribed to its own XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey groups never receives the notification of its own migration. IKEv2 MOBIKE / address-update handling inside a netns is silently broken. Thread struct net through km_migrate() and the xfrm_mgr.migrate function pointer, drop the &init_net override in xfrm_send_migrate() and pfkey_send_migrate(), and pass the caller's net (already in scope in xfrm_migrate() via sock_net(skb->sk)) all the way down. struct xfrm_mgr is in-tree only and not exported as a stable API, so the function-pointer signature change is internal. pfkey_broadcast() is already netns-aware via net_generic(net, pfkey_net_id) since the pernet conversion. The five other pfkey_broadcast() callers in af_key.c already pass xs_net(x), sock_net(sk) or a per-netns net, so this only removes the &init_net outlier.
CVE-2026-63880 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix lock leak on ENOMEM in AMDGPU_GEM_OP_GET_MAPPING_INFO The AMDGPU_GEM_OP_GET_MAPPING_INFO branch of amdgpu_gem_op_ioctl() holds three cleanup-tracked resources before calling kvcalloc(): the drm_gem_object reference from drm_gem_object_lookup(), the drm_exec lock on the looked-up GEM via drm_exec_lock_obj(), and the drm_exec lock on the per-process VM root page directory via amdgpu_vm_lock_pd(). All three are released by the out_exec label that every other error path in this function jumps to. The kvcalloc() failure path returns -ENOMEM directly, skipping out_exec and leaking all three. The leaked per-process VM root PD dma_resv lock is the load-bearing leak: any subsequent operation on the same VM (further GEM ops, command-submission, eviction, TTM shrinker callbacks) blocks on the held lock. DRM_IOCTL_AMDGPU_GEM_OP is DRM_AUTH | DRM_RENDER_ALLOW, so this is an unprivileged-local denial of service against the caller's GPU context, reachable by any process with /dev/dri/renderD* access. Route the failure through out_exec so drm_exec_fini() and drm_gem_object_put() run. Reproduced on stock 7.0.0-10, Ryzen 7 5700U / Radeon Vega (Lucienne): the failing ioctl returns -ENOMEM and a second GET_MAPPING_INFO on the same fd then blocks in drm_exec_lock_obj() on the leaked dma_resv. SIGKILL on the caller does not reap the task; the fd-release path during process exit goes through amdgpu_gem_object_close() -> drm_exec_prepare_obj() on the same lock, leaving the task in D state until the box is rebooted. The patched kernel was not rebuilt and re-tested on this hardware; the fix is mechanical. Tested on a single Lucienne / Vega box only. Ziyi Guo posted an independent INT_MAX-bound check for args->num_entries in the same branch [1]; the two patches are complementary and can land in either order. CVE-2026-111879 1 Perl5-dbi 1 Dbi 2026-10-30 6.5 Medium
DBI versions before 1.656 for Perl hang on a later open of a DBD::DBM table because a failed open_data does not release the table's lock. open_data creates the table's lock file and takes an exclusive flock on it for a CREATE, before the checks that can croak: a dbm_mldbm value that is not a module name, a failing tie, or a missing data file. The croak unwinds before the table object is blessed, so nothing releases the lock, and the meta data holding the open descriptor stays cached on the database handle. The dbm_mldbm and dbm_type values come from the DSN or the connect attributes, so a caller that chooses the serializer or the storage backend can trigger the failure. The flock has no timeout, so a later open of that table (even through a separate database handle) blocks for as long as the handle holding the stale lock lives, in the same process or any other.

CVE-2024-58096 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: add srng->lock for ath11k_hal_srng_* in monitor mode ath11k_hal_srng_* should be used with srng->lock to protect srng data. For ath11k_dp_rx_mon_dest_process() and ath11k_dp_full_mon_process_rx(), they use ath11k_hal_srng_* for many times but never call srng->lock. So when running (full) monitor mode, warning will occur: RIP: 0010:ath11k_hal_srng_dst_peek+0x18/0x30 [ath11k] Call Trace: ? ath11k_hal_srng_dst_peek+0x18/0x30 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_rx_process_mon_status+0xc45/0x1190 [ath11k] ? idr_alloc_u32+0x97/0xd0 ath11k_dp_rx_process_mon_rings+0x32a/0x550 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_service_srng+0x289/0x5a0 [ath11k] ath11k_pcic_ext_grp_napi_poll+0x30/0xd0 [ath11k] __napi_poll+0x30/0x1f0 net_rx_action+0x198/0x320 __do_softirq+0xdd/0x319 So add srng->lock for them to avoid such warnings. Inorder to fetch the srng->lock, should change srng's definition from 'void' to 'struct hal_srng'. And initialize them elsewhere to prevent one line of code from being too long. This is consistent with other ring process functions, such as ath11k_dp_process_rx(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock: treat TCP_CLOSING as once-established Handle the TCP_ESTABLISHED -> TCP_CLOSING transition on OP_RST, which can race with the connect loop. Immediately break and return 0 on ESTABLISHED/CLOSING. The return value of connect() should reflect what happened up to the point the connection was established or failed. Events that occur afterwards must not affect it. E.g. even if OP_RW has already set sk_err, connect() should still return 0, not ENOBUFS because of it. Adapt the inaccurate comment above signal_pending(). Resetting a socket that is still present in connected_table can lead to memory corruption. The reporter noted lost transports for in-flight skbs, and I have reproduced crashes caused by re-insertion into connected_table. list_add double add: new=, prev=, next=. kernel BUG at lib/list_debug.c:35! CVE-2026-99133 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/iucv: fix the recvmsg window update iucv_sock_recvmsg() sends the HiperSockets-only AF_IUCV_FLAG_WIN without testing the transport, so on a classic z/VM socket iucv_send_ctrl() sizes the skb through a NULL iucv->hs_dev. SO_MSGLIMIT accepts 1, so msglimit / 2 is zero and one recvmsg() on its own socket is enough for an unprivileged process to take a spurious disconnect. It also calls iucv_send_ctrl() under spin_lock_bh(&message_q.lock), which allocates GFP_KERNEL inside a section the code treats as atomic. Sending outside that lock lets two recvmsg() reach afiucv_hs_send() at once, where msg_recv is sampled for the advertised window and subtracted after dev_queue_xmit() -- and sendmsg reaches that counter under lock_sock() while recvmsg holds no socket lock, so both can subtract the same value, the counter goes negative and the credit reaches the peer twice. Test the transport, claim the credit with atomic_xchg() after the last error exit and hand it back if the transmit fails, and send once the lock is dropped.
CVE-2026-99114 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 4.3 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: initialize FileSystemControlFlags in FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION smb2_get_info_filesystem() reports 48 bytes for FS_CONTROL_INFORMATION, that is the whole of struct smb2_fs_control_info, but never assigns FileSystemControlFlags. Those four bytes go to the client as they are found in the response buffer. The buffer is zeroed on allocation, so a standalone request leaks nothing. A compound request can leak: the offset of the next response is advanced by the length pinned for the previous one, so a reply that was written into the buffer and then dropped in favour of the short error response of smb2_set_err_rsp() stays there, and the next reply is laid over it with only the header cleared. ksmbd does not implement quota tracking, so report no control flags.
CVE-2026-99024 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: optee: register TEE devices only once fully initialized optee_probe() called tee_device_register() on both the client and the supplicant device before the rest of struct optee had been initialized. tee_device_register() calls cdev_device_add(), which does two things at once: it creates /dev/tee0 and /dev/teepriv0, and it links the device into the tee class so that class_find_device() can find it. From that moment on the device is reachable both from user space via tee_open() and from kernel space via tee_client_open_context(). The only gate in teedev_open() is tee_device_get(), which merely checks that teedev->desc is non-NULL, which was already set by tee_device_alloc(). Therefore, there is effectively no gate at all. A context opened in that window can run against a struct optee where - optee->call_queue.mutex is not initialized by optee_cq_init() - optee->supp mutex and completions is not initialized by optee_supp_init() - optee->rpmb_dev_mutex is not initialized yet, - the message argument cache is not initialized by optee_shm_arg_cache_init() - optee->ctx is still NULL Any open session or invoke during this window takes uninitialized mutexes and dereferences a NULL pointer. Fix it by moving both tee_device_register() calls down to the point where all of struct optee is set up. [JW: adding fixes and cc]
CVE-2026-98993 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: don't inherit MNT_UMOUNT in clone_mnt() MNT_UMOUNT gets raised on a mount that umount_tree() or umount_one() has taken out of its namespace. It's never cleared. __detach_mounts() unhooks a mount that carries it instead of unmounting it. disconnect_mount() lets an unmounted child stay attached only if its parent carries it. propagate_umount() takes it as the sign that a mount is going to be unmounted when it decides what else can be unmounted, where a chain of locked mounts ends and where a for reparenting an overmount. clone_mnt() copies the flags of the source and only masks MNT_INTERNAL_FLAGS which doesn't include MNT_UMOUNT. A mount that was lazily unmounted but is kept alive by a file descriptor can still be copied when its root is an nsfs or pidfs file because may_copy_tree() accepts those before checking whether the source is mounted at all: mount --bind /proc/self/ns/net /tmp/x exec 3< /tmp/x umount -l /tmp/x mount --bind /proc/self/fd/3 /tmp/y The mount on /tmp/y is attached to the caller's namespace with MNT_UMOUNT already set and every copy of it inherits the flag again. That causes a number of bugs: - Unlink its mountpoint from a mount namespace where it isn't one. __detach_mounts() takes it for a mount that was unmounted earlier, unhooks it from its parent and drops the reference the namespace holds on it. It stays in the namespace with one reference too few and as its own parent, so it can't be unmounted through the file descriptor anymore and the namespace never finds it again. When the namespace goes away it's leaked and points to a freed struct mnt_namespace that may_change_propagation() and anon_ns_root() read on the next propagation change or mount_setattr() through the file descriptor. - Make it shared and unmount a peer. trace_transfers() follows the flag from the peer into it and strips it from its peer group. - Let a propagated umount reach it. gather_candidates() marks it with T_UMOUNT_CANDIDATE but never puts it on the candidate list, so the mark is never cleared and every later propagated umount skips it. If it's the parent of a locked mount handle_locked() takes it as the cutoff and commits the locked child that should have stayed and disconnect_mount() leaves that child attached to it, unmounted under a mounted parent, which is what disconnect_mount() exists to prevent. When the namespace goes away umount_tree() visits the child a second time. And once __detach_mounts() has made it its own parent reparent() never finds the end of the chain of unmounted parents. A clone is a new mount that has never been unmounted. Add MNT_UMOUNT to MNT_INTERNAL_FLAGS so clone_mnt() never copies it. And warn when umount_tree() reaches a mount that already has it set.
CVE-2026-98698 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 5.3 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: handle empty FILS association request payload fils_encrypt_assoc_req() accepts a (Re)Association Request frame whose last element is the FILS Session element. crypt_len is then zero and aes_siv_encrypt() is called with an empty plaintext. kmemdup() returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR for a zero-length allocation, so the unconditional sg_init_one() puts an invalid page into the scatterlist. With CONFIG_DEBUG_SG this triggers a kernel BUG in sg_set_buf(); without the debug check the bogus page is handed to the crypto backend. AES-SIV is defined for empty plaintext and the S2V result is then the complete output, so handle this case before the CTR step, which has nothing to encrypt.

CVE-2026-97409 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-fc: Do not cancel requests in io target before it is initialized A new nvme-fc controller in CONNECTING state sees admin request timeout schedules ctrl->ioerr_work to abort inflight requests. This ends up calling __nvme_fc_abort_outstanding_ios() which aborts requests in both admin and io tagsets. In case fc_ctrl->tag_set was not initialized we see the warning below. This is because ctrl.queue_count is initialized early in nvme_fc_alloc_ctrl(). nvme nvme0: NVME-FC{0}: starting error recovery Connectivity Loss INFO: trying to register non-static key. The code is fine but needs lockdep annotation, or maybe lpfc 0000:ab:00.0: queue 0 connect admin queue failed (-6). you didn't initialize this object before use? turning off the locking correctness validator. Workqueue: nvme-reset-wq nvme_fc_ctrl_ioerr_work [nvme_fc] Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x57/0x80 register_lock_class+0x567/0x580 __lock_acquire+0x330/0xb90 lock_acquire.part.0+0xad/0x210 blk_mq_tagset_busy_iter+0xf9/0xc00 __nvme_fc_abort_outstanding_ios+0x23f/0x320 [nvme_fc] nvme_fc_ctrl_ioerr_work+0x172/0x210 [nvme_fc] process_one_work+0x82c/0x1450 worker_thread+0x5ee/0xfd0 kthread+0x3a0/0x750 ret_from_fork+0x439/0x670 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 </TASK> Update the check in __nvme_fc_abort_outstanding_ios() confirm that io tagset was created before iterating over busy requests. Also make sure to cancel ctrl->ioerr_work before removing io tagset.
CVE-2026-93155 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: keembay - Fix AEAD unregister count in error path register_aes_algs() registers the AEAD algorithms before registering the skcipher algorithms. If skcipher registration fails, the function unwinds the earlier AEAD registration with crypto_engine_unregister_aeads(), but it passes ARRAY_SIZE(algs), which is the skcipher table size. Use ARRAY_SIZE(algs_aead) for the AEAD unwind path so the unregister helper iterates over the same table that was registered. Also clarify the nearby comment: the crypto registration helpers clean up algorithms registered within the same call, while this function must still unwind earlier successful registration steps.
CVE-2026-93081 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Fix SCMI device destroy lifetimes scmi_child_dev_find() drops the reference returned by device_find_child() before returning the scmi_device pointer. A concurrent unregister can then release the device while the destroy path is still using the returned pointer. Make the lookup helper return the device_find_child() reference and keep it until scmi_device_destroy() has finished unregistering the child. Also split device_unregister() in __scmi_device_destroy() so the SCMI bus ID is not made reusable until after device_del() has removed the old scmi_dev.N name from sysfs. This avoids a new SCMI device reusing the same ID while the old device is still registered. The final device release callback is also a possible cleanup path when SCMI children are deleted by driver core recursion rather than __scmi_device_destroy(). Release the SCMI bus ID from a common helper used by destroy, register-failure and final-release paths, and clear scmi_dev->id after freeing it so the final release cannot free the same ID again.
